Nestled within the beautiful village of Barnsley, The Village Pub is perfectly located within the Cotswolds for an exciting day out in some of England's most historic towns and villages including Cirencester and Bibury. Dating back the Iron Age, the village of Barnsley has been a monumental location within the British history books through the Roman invasion, Anglo-Saxon settlements and the Tudor era. Proudly awarded one of the most picturesque villages of the UK, Bibury occupies a gorgeous spot along the banks of the River Coln. Bibury plays host to an array of gorgeous architectural wonders; rich in British history, as well as a variety of quintessentially English tea houses, boutique shops and inspiring views with fabulous photo opportunities! One of the largest towns within The Cotswolds, Cirencester lies a few miles away from The Village Pub with an extensive Roman history, incredibly restored limestone buildings and an variety of activities to engage in whether you are visiting with friends, family or a loved one.

SETTING EXPECTATIONS

  • All bedrooms are situated on the first floor with a full flight of stairs and no lift available.
  • Extra children's bed and cots available upon request.
  • Guests of the Village Pub are welcome to visit the gardens of Barnsley House. Guests booking a 55 minute (or more) treatment at The Barnsley Spa gain access to the facilities for up to 3 hours, inclusive of the treatment time. If you would like to book treatments, please do so in advance of your stay.
